Working with Stephen to buy a house is like bringing a grenade launcher to a water balloon fight. Especially for first-time home buyers, we cannot recommend him enough. We felt that he was solidly on our team from start to finish. We especially appreciate that he is able to educate and guide without being pushy or patronizing.He is of course knowledgeable about the home-buying process. But also, since he makes sure to be present for home inspections, he's an incredible resource for so much information about construction, repairs, and maintenance in general. He has contacts with many local contractors, so during the due diligence period we were able to get estimates on everything we needed with a fast turn-around (often same day). Again, with no pushiness or assumption that we would be using these services. So much of the negotiation process happened when we weren't present, but Stephen was very communicative and gave regular updates. When our inspection showed potential for pricey repairs, he negotiated concessions for us, and then when the appraisal came in lower than asking price, he was able to bring down the sale price even lower. He was regularly available and made his schedule work around ours. If we had concerns, they were solved almost immediately.Overall, we highly recommend Stephen, and would absolutely use him again if we were planning on moving. :)Thanks, Stephen! We appreciate you!

We got in touch with Stephen on a Friday afternoon, and by Monday, we had found the house we ended up buying. Not only was he super responsive and willing to work with our schedules, but he was also enthusiastic, kind, and prepared every time we saw a house with him. As first time home buyers, we had no clue what we were doing. Within days, Stephen educated us on the process of buying a home and shared very helpful pieces of information about each home we saw (about finishes, location, utilities, DIY projects, etc.) to aid in our decision. Ultimately, Stephen helped us write a winning offer, and we closed in less than a month with a price we were comfortable with. I would recommend Stephen to any home buyer, but especially to a first-time home buyer who knows little about the process. He has an enormous amount of resources he provides at every step of the way (checklists for every step in home buying, vendor recommendations, etc.). He was so fun to work with, and he was instrumental in our purchase of our very first home.
